Environmental division

Our Environmental Services are the most comprehensive and sustainable in Timor-Leste. Our growing range of services, as well as our expanding range of products manufactured from waste materials, attest to our environmental credentials and genuine commitment to build a better Timor-Leste.

But we don’t just look after Timor-Leste. We are also very proud of the processes we’re developing to enable communities all over the world to recycle their own waste on location – not only will these processes drastically reduce waste and environmental damage, but they will also generate employment opportunities for some of our most vulnerable populations.

Ask Caltech how we can help your operation minimise its environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Waste management & collection

We provide the most comprehensive and integrated waste management services in Timor-Leste – providing customised onshore and offshore waste management solutions. We are involved in waste collection (liquid and solid) onshore and offshore – servicing the oil and gas sector and others.

Waste transfer station

We own and operate Timor-Leste’s only private Waste Transfer Station – an investment in Timor-Leste’s environment and in job creation.

We recycle many kinds of products and materials and are exploring new technologies and processes to enable us to continue to grow our recycling capabilities. Caltech is very proud of the vital role it plays in the ‘Plastics Solution Alliance’ whose purpose is to create a zero plastics and circular economy in Timor-Leste.

Recycled products

We use recycled plastic to manufacture our own range of pavers, bricks, building blocks and kerb units. We are also investing in the development of processes that will enable communities in other countries to recycle their own waste on location.
